SAP ABAP on Cloud / RAP Developer

Job brief

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP on Cloud / RAP Developer with at least 3 years of experience in developing scalable and efficient applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in ABAP on Cloud, CDS Views, and Fiori Elements integration.

Key Skills

• Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using ABAP on Cloud and RAP.
• Build CDS Views, behaviors, and metadata extensions for Fiori Elements apps.
• Implement business logic in the Business Object Behavior Definitions.
• Integrate applications with SAP S/4HANA or SAP BTP using OData V4.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and clean code principles.
• Conduct unit testing, performance tuning, and support deployment activities.

Other Skills

• 3+ years of experience in ABAP development with at least 1 year on ABAP on Cloud / RAP.
• Proficient in Core Data Services (CDS), AMDP, and BOPF.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP and related cloud services.
• Familiarity with Git, Eclipse ADT, and REST APIs.
• Understanding of SAP Fiori Elements and UI annotations.
• Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Good communication and analytical thinking abilities.
